Getting Started
sMILX is a
lightweight scientific visualisation and processing application special
support for biomedical imaging. Some examples are shown in the
screenshots below:


When opening sMILX for the first time, the following window will appear:

sMILX
is designed to be context sensitive where ever possible.
Consequently, most operations are done using the right click menu
(denoted as "Right Click->" in subsequent instructions). For
instance, to smooth an image using gradient anisotropic diffusion:
